Former Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala has ceased to in this life at the age of 89. He passed away as a result of cardiac arrest at his home in Gurugram.
Chautala’s legacy will undoubtedly be remembered as a remarkable part in Haryana’s politics Chautala was four terms chief minister of the state of Haryana from 1989 to 1991, 1991 to 1996, 1999 to 2000 and lastly from year 2000 to 2005. He was the first son of the former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal and pursued his father’s legacy in the Haryana politics.
Chautala was a fierce defender of his strategy and served the public throughout his career. He was instrumental for the formulation of the rural development, agricultural advancement and farmers welfare policies of Haryana.
Chautala died, and there has been a flood of tributes from various political circles in the country. In this, Sh. Narender Modi also gave a condolence saying that Chautala used to play an active role in the politics of haryana and completed the works of his father.
