The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly condemned the actions of Congress leader and MP, Amarinder Singh Raja Warring, who was recently caught in a viral video making shocking promises to voters in exchange for their votes. In the video, Warring is seen offering 50,000 rupees to voters from the Gidderbaha constituency, attempting to sway their decision with cash incentives. This blatant act of vote-buying is not only a violation of the model code of conduct but also a direct attack on the core values of democracy.

AAP Spokesperson Neel Garg stated, “Raja Warring’s actions represent everything that is wrong with the traditional political system. By offering money to voters, he is attempting to buy their allegiance, thereby undermining the fundamental principles of free and fair elections. Such behavior is a serious violation of the Election Commission’s code of conduct, and we demand that the Election Commission take immediate action against Raja Warring.”

The AAP also said that this incident highlights a deeper issue with the Congress party’s approach to governance. “For years, politicians like Raja Warring have been manipulating the electorate with promises of money, instead of delivering the basic necessities like jobs, education, healthcare, and infrastructure. It is clear that these politicians do not believe in the power of democracy, but rather, in the exploitation of voters for their own gain,” added Garg.

AAP further pointed out that the people of Punjab deserve better than this. “The residents of Gidderbaha and other constituencies need leaders who will work for their welfare, not those who resort to cheap tactics to manipulate their vote. If Raja Warring truly cared about the people, he would focus on addressing the real issues faced by the common man, such as unemployment, healthcare, and improving public services.”

AAP has called on the voters to reject such divisive and corrupt practices and to vote with their conscience in the upcoming elections. “You do not need to be bought. The money being offered is your own money, stolen from your taxes and used to manipulate you for political gain,” stated Garg. “It’s time to rise above such petty tactics and vote for a party that genuinely believes in the power of the people — the Aam Aadmi Party.”

It Is the people’s money they embezzled while in power, and now they are using it to buy votes: Pawan Kumar Tinu

Pawan Kumar Tinu, senior spokesperson for the Aam Aadmi Party, also strongly condemned Raja Warring’s actions, highlighting the unethical nature of such tactics. “It is the people’s money that these politicians embezzled while in power, and now they are using it to buy votes,” said Tinu. He pointed out that such practices undermine the trust of the public in the political process and further fuel the culture of corruption. “This is a desperate attempt by the Congress to maintain its hold on power, but the people of Punjab are no longer willing to be manipulated. The AAP stands for transparency, accountability, and real development. We urge the citizens to reject these fraudulent offers and support a party that will truly work for their future.”
