Kathmandu: The Indian Embassy in Nepal has taken swift action to assist Indian nationals stranded due to the recent floods and landslides caused by record rainfall in the region. Embassy officials are actively coordinating with Nepali authorities to ensure the safe return of those affected.
In a public advisory, the embassy expressed concern for those impacted by the natural disaster and confirmed they are in direct contact with several stranded groups. Emergency helpline numbers have been issued to provide immediate assistance.
“The Embassy is arranging for their safe return and is working closely with Nepali authorities to facilitate the evacuation of Indian citizens,” the embassy announced on X (formerly Twitter).
