Aam Aadmi Party questions Central Government for blocking Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's Paris visit

Paris Olympics 2024: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party and raised many questions about the Central Government for not allowing Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to go to see the ongoing Olympic Games in Paris. Senior AAP leader and spokesperson Neel Garg said that BJP is doing politics in the name of security. Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not want any opposition leader of India to reach international platform.

Neel Garg said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann wants to go to Paris to encourage hockey players in the ongoing Olympic Games, but the BJP government at the Center deliberately did not allow him to go citing security reasons. This is wrong.

Garg said that last year Arvind Kejriwal was also stopped from similarly going to Singapore.  AAP leader and Delhi government minister Gopal Rai was also stopped. Now news is coming that Punjab Assembly Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan is not being allowed to go to America to attend a political program. This is int to the narrow mentality of the BJP.

Garg said that 10 players in the Indian hockey team for the Olympics are from Punjab. Both the captain and the vice-captain are from Punjab. That is why the Chief Minister of Punjab wants to go there, but the BJP wants to stop Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann at any cost.

Neel Garg said that due to this mentality of the BJP and the Modi government, more than seven and a half lakh people have left Indian citizenship in the last 5 years.
